And the winner is…
Oh my, goodness! Did you hear my very first book won a Bronze Medal in the 2010 Moonbeam Children’s Award. When I heard the news I could hardly believe it.
This was no walk in the park, either. Seriously. It was stiff competition, more than 800 entries in all! Mel says this year’s Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards Entries were judged by a panel of educators, librarians, booksellers, and book reviewers of all ages.
If you don’t have your own copy of Sophie’s Tales: Learning to Listen, just click here. I’ll even autograph it for you! Just let me know who the book is to and I’ll put my paw to paper and write them a special note. I’m telling you, this is a perfect book for kids–whether they have a hearing loss or not. We’re all different and we’re all unique. Think about it, how many dogs do you know who are also authors?
Love, Sophie
