Julie’s Nucleus 5 Upgrade
Julie and her mom, Paula, came to St. Louis to upgrade to the Nucleus 5 cochlear implants. Julie loved their light feel and clear sound. This video is a fun, sixty second recap of their upgrade experience. The video was made for Cochlear’s N5 video contest.

Family Music Workshop
Sophie’s tail always starts wagging when this video comes on. Her cousin Julie had a wonderful experience participating in a teen group for children with hearing loss. She met so many new friends in addition to expanding her love for music. Sophie put together a video from the teen group’s culminating performance with the elementary group for the kids’ parents. It’s wooftastic!

This winning YouTube video for ASHA’s Better Hearing and Speech Month contest has quickly become an anthem for people with hearing loss.

  • Dani Paticoff, who is in the vocal department at the Long Island High School for the Arts, sings lead.
  • Julie Rosenthal stars in the music video showing off her singing, dancing, and acting skills, plus her cochlear implants!
  • Our brothers Jason and Daniel Rosenthal bring the chorus to life while David adds his drumming and behind-the-scenes editing work to the mix.
